Plugg’s leadership was introduced to the executive team of a large technology solutions firm with a large presence in Eastern Europe. With the Ukraine war, the risk was very high and the company was seeking alternatives. Plugg provided counsel on Latin America, possible countries, budget, talent pockets, hardware, and a hiring plan.
It was decided to give Plugg an opportunity to compete with another agency. Within 3 months, Plugg had made 20 hires in Mexico and the other agency struggled to present any candidates which met the hiring bar. By 6 months, Plugg had made over 40 senior engineering hires and allowed the solutions firm to confidently cover their customers without interruption, mitigating significant geo-political risk.
